We want all of our patients to achieve effective results with their new limbs and maximise their potential to meet and exceed their objectives. To help us achieve this, our expert prosthetists will provide a programme of review appointments to ensure the safety of your limb and to allow us to get things perfect.
All of our prosthetists are highly trained and experienced, as well as being registered with HCPC and BAPO. They are able to spot any warning signs to ensure your safety and comfort when wearing your prosthesis. They will also take data which we can share with you so that you can see your progress over the course of your rehabilitation program as you move towards your goals.
The frequency of our review appointments depends upon the limb that we have provided as well as the individual needs of each of our clients. We have appointments at a range of times and days so we are sure to find appointments for every schedule.
These appointments will be arranged with just a prosthetist or with a multidisciplinary team, depending on what you plan to achieve with your limb. This can include a physiotherapist, a personal trainer, an occupational therapist, a psychologist, or a medical consultant. Our prosthetists are also able to refer you onto any of these services at any point following your review if it would benefit you.
If you find that you need to see someone between review appointments, you can book an extra one easily and as soon as you need it. We are committed to spending as long as it takes to get everything perfect so we encourage all of our patients to see us with any issues they are experiencing at all. We recommend that patients take advantage of our rehabilitation package; if you have chosen a rehabilitation package then all review appointments with a prosthetist at any time are included in the cost.
